We design and build websites as conversion systems — the layout, copy and enquiry routes engineered so visitors actually book or buy, wired to content and CRM so the site is one part of a funnel, not an island.
Social Spark designs and builds websites as conversion systems — the layout, copy and enquiry routes engineered so visitors actually book or buy, not just browse. London-based, working across London, Kent and Essex and the UK, joined up with content and CRM so the site is one part of a funnel, not an island.
Most small-business websites are brochures. They look reasonable, load fast enough, and sit there while enquiries don't arrive. The problem isn't usually the design — it's that nobody built the path from 'landed on the page' to 'sent a message or booked an appointment'.
Web designers optimise for looks and launch. The brief is typically a number of pages, a colour palette and a deadline — not 'where should a visitor go next, and what should reliably happen when they get there?'. Conversion is nobody's job, so it doesn't get done. The result is a site that's fine to look at and poor at producing work.
We start from the one action the site needs to drive — a booking, a call, an enquiry form submission — and design backwards from there. Copy is written to answer real buying questions, not to describe the business. The enquiry route is built, tested and, where it makes sense, wired to ViralDesk — our CRM and automation platform — so that a completed form or booking doesn't just send an email and disappear. The goal is a site that does a measurable job, not one that wins compliments.
Conversion-first design
Page structure, layout and visual hierarchy built around one primary goal — the enquiry or booking — rather than around features, history or what the last website had on it.
Copy that answers buying questions
Written-for-you page copy that works through the questions a prospect has before they make contact: what you do, who it's for, what happens next. Plain language, no jargon.
Enquiry routes and booking, wired in
Contact forms, call-now buttons and booking links built into the page at the right moments — not bolted on as an afterthought. Where it fits, connected to ViralDesk so every enquiry has a reliable next step.
Mobile-first build
Built from mobile upward, because that's where most visitors arrive. Performance, readability and tap targets treated as design requirements, not an afterthought.
CRM and automation join-up
Where enquiry capture, follow-up and missed-call text-back are part of the scope, the site is connected to ViralDesk — our CRM and automation platform — so the website handoff to follow-up is automatic, not manual.
1. Diagnose
We review your existing site — or your requirements if there isn't one — to understand where the enquiry path breaks and what the site needs to do. The Reality Check (twelve questions, free) covers some of this ground if you want a quicker read before we talk.
2. Scope
We agree the pages, the primary goal, the copy approach and the join-up required — booking, CRM, content feed — and work up a transparent scope using the credit system. The pricing calculator shows what any combination of pages and services costs before a conversation is needed.
3. Design and build
Design, copy and build run together rather than sequentially — so the words and the layout are shaped for the same goal from the start, not retrofitted to each other at the end.
4. Measure enquiries
After launch, we look at whether enquiries move — not just whether the site is live. Where reporting is in scope, the measure is contacts, bookings and calls, not sessions and bounce rates.
Best fit if
You have a site that looks presentable but produces few enquiries — and you'd rather understand why than just redesign the layout
You're starting from scratch and want the website built as part of a wider funnel, not as a standalone project handed off to a separate team
You sell something where the customer researches before buying — and you want the site to do that job rather than point them elsewhere to do it
You want copy, design and enquiry wiring under one scope rather than commissioning a designer, a copywriter and a CRM team separately
Not the best fit if
You want a visual refresh only — new colours, updated photos, same structure — with no interest in changing how enquiries arrive; a designer charging for that is a better fit
The site is the last thing you need: if there's no clear offer, no working service and no follow-up for what arrives, fixing the website first won't solve the pipeline problem
Do you write the copy, or do we need to provide it?
We write it. Copy is part of the scope — we interview you, work through the buying questions your customers have, and draft the page content as part of the build. Providing your own copy is an option if you prefer, but most clients find the site converts better when the copy and the layout are designed together.
How much does a website from Social Spark cost?
Website work is scoped and priced through the transparent credit system — the pricing calculator shows what any combination of pages, copy and services costs without a call first. Web projects typically sit within a retainer (Foundation from £750/month, Managed from £2,100/month) or as a scoped project; the calculator gives you the honest number.
Do you handle hosting and ongoing maintenance?
Hosting and support plans are available separately from the build itself. Flat-fee Support Plans run £49–£199/month depending on what's covered. We'll be clear about what's in scope and what isn't before any work begins.
What about SEO — will the site rank?
The build follows SEO fundamentals: clean structure, sensible page titles, mobile performance, descriptive copy. We won't promise rankings — no honest provider can — but we won't build something that works against you in search either. If you need a content or SEO programme layered on top, that's a separate conversation.
Can the website connect to our CRM or booking system?
Yes. Where ViralDesk — our CRM and automation platform — is part of the scope, enquiry forms, missed-call text-back and booking are wired directly into the site. If you're using a third-party booking system, we'll talk through what's possible at the scoping stage.
Start with a conversation — we'll tell you honestly whether this is your bottleneck, and what we'd fix first if it is.
